Information note on the privacy code

This page describes how the website processes the personal data of users consulting it.

This information note is also provided pursuant to artt. 13 and 14 Regulation (EU) 2016/679 to those interacting with the web services of D.B. Group SpA, accessible via computer through: corresponding to the home page of the official D.B. Group SpA. website.

This information note is only provided for the D.B. Group SpA website, not for any other websites consulted by the user through links.

The information note is inspired by Recommendation 2/2001 that European privacy authorities, in the Group set up through art. 29 of directive 95/46/EC, adopted on 17 May 2001 to establish certain minimum requirements for the collection of personal data on-line; in particular, methods, times and type of information that process controllers must provide to users when the latter link to web pages, regardless of why they do so.

The process  “Controller”

Data related to people identified or identifiable can be processed after this website has been visited.

The "controller" of that process is D.B. Group SpA, with registered office in Via Feltrina Sud, 95 – 31044 Montebelluna (TV) - Italy.

“Party responsible ” for processing

STARSOFTWARE SRL has been appointed as the party responsible for processing pursuant to article 29 of the Privacy Code, as it is in charge of the website’s software maintenance.

TESSARI & ASSOCIATI has been appointed as the party responsible for processing pursuant to article 29 of the Privacy Code, as it is the communication agency.

Place of data processing

All personal data that visitors decide to communicate is stored on a server managed by D.B. Group called DBGITWS1PD located in Dta Center Telecom (Padova) in a dedicated collocation.

No data from the web service is communicated or circulated.

Processing related to the web services of this website takes place in the aforementioned Company registered office and is only handled by technical staff appointed to do so.
In a case of need, data connected to the newsletter services could be processed by STARSOFTWARE SRL which handles the website software maintenance and is located in Via B. Maderna, 7, 30174 Venezia Mestre and by TESSARI & ASSOCIATI located in Via del Gazzato, 20/8, 30174 Venezia Mestre (responsible for processing pursuant to article 29 of the Privacy Code), in their registered offices.

Personal data provided by users requesting information (mailing list, newsletter, answers to questions, etc.) is used solely to perform the service requested and is not disclosed to third parties.

Types of data processed

Navigation data

During normal operations, the information systems and software procedures operating this website acquire some personal data that is transmitted implicitly when using Internet communication protocols.

This information is not collected to be associated with identified users; but due to its specific nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, enable identification of users themselves.

This data category includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by the user connecting to the website, URI addresses (Uniform Resource Identifier) of resources requested, time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the server response status (successful, error or similar) and other parameters related to the user's operating system and computer environment.

This data is used solely to obtain anonymous statistics on use of the website and to check it operates correctly and is deleted straight after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in a case of hypothetical computer crimes against the website. Except for that possibility, web contact data does not currently last for more than seven days.


Data provided voluntarily by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary decision to send an e-mail to the addresses indicated in this website mean the e-mail address of the sender is acquired, as it is needed to answer the requests, along with any other personal data included in the message sent.

Monitoring, statistics and plugins

Use of Google Analytics

Facebook social plugins and other social networks

Our web pages and  APPS could contain social network plug-ins (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, etc…). If you enter one of our web pages containing a similar plug-in, the browser connects to the social network server directly and the plug-in is displayed on screen thanks to the browser connection. If an interested social network user visits our web pages while connected to his/her social network account, his/her data could be associated with the social network account. Even if the plug-in functions are used, the information will be associated with the social network account. Interaction and information acquired is, in any case, subject to the User’s privacy settings related to each social network. Except for what has been said for navigation data, the user is free to provide the personal data indicated in the request forms or in contacts to ask for the newsletter, for information to be sent or for other communications.

Methods of data processing

Personal data is processed automatically for the time strictly needed to achieve the purposes it was collected for.

Specific security measures are taken to prevent to loss of data, illegal or incorrect use and unauthorised access.

Transferring your data abroad

Personal data provided, entered through this or other websites, can be sent to other countries by us or by our agents in order to comply with contractual obligations and mandatory intra-group and/or franchising compliance.

Rights of the Interested party

The subjects the personal data refers to have the right, at any time, to be informed of whether data is being held or not and about its contents and origin, check it is correct and request integration, updating or rectification (article 7 of the Privacy Code).

Pursuant to the same article, subjects have the right to request the cancellation, transformation into an anonymous format, or restriction of any data processed in breach of the law, and object to processing, in all cases, for legitimate reasons.
