18th June 2021 *update

As reported by Global Times, "a flight information platform said on Friday the Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport in South China's Guangdong Province has cancelled more than 400 flights, after a staff at a restaurant in the airport reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.

As of 14:25 on Friday, the cancelled arriving and departing flights (including the cancellations on Friday and cancellations in advance) accounted for around 40 percent of the total number of flights at the airport"

We are monitoring the situation but we may expect delays for the upcoming days.

Our offices are at complete disposal to answer further questions. We will keep you informed about future developments.

15th June 2021 * update

The Yantian International Container Terminal situation starts seeing some positive improvements.

The productivity of the terminal operations has increased, planning to return to normal schedules within the end of June.

Accrued delays may still impact on our shipments, but we are doing our best to minimize the impact on our shipments.

We shall keep you informed.

10th June 2021 * update

The congestion of Yantian, Shekou, and Nansha ports in South China Area has seen no improvements yet, as more positive COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Shenzhen and Guangzhou.

Yard density remains elevated to enable disinfection and quarantine measures. Therefore, we expect the terminal congestion and vessels delays to continue for the next 14 days.

This situation will negatively impact ocean shipments during the upcoming weeks: all vessels with transit through Yantian, Shekou, and Nansha ports are likely to arrive at final destination with a foreseen delay of 2 weeks.

We are continuously monitoring the situation, doing our best to mitigate the impact on our shipments.

Our teams are at your disposal to consider different solutions, such as the air charter, to provide you the best service.
