By the end of February, we opened a new office in Dallas, TX.
It represents the 52nd branch on a global level and the 7th location in the US, one of our focus markets.
Strategically located in the south-central region of the country, this office will allow us to provide an even higher service to our local customers.
The reasons that contribute to making Dallas a key transportation hub for the country are several and mixed, such as:
- A well-developed transportation infrastructure, with a wide network of interstates, local highways, national and international airport, and railroads, makes Dallas an ideal logistics center, as it provides easy access to customers and suppliers across the country and cross-border to Mexico. Furthermore, it is relatively close to other major cities such as Houston and Austin.
- Dallas has a built-in labor pool of experienced workers. Due to several universities and colleges offering programs in logistics and supply chain management, the city workforce has extensive expertise in logistics and transportation. In a world of services, people make the difference. This is why, the valuable experience of local workers can be a game-changer to offer a high-level service to customers.
- A growing market. Texas is the second most-populated state in the country and Dallas is one of its fastest-growing metropolitan areas, representing a good opportunity for businesses looking for new customers to serve.
Through our local office, we at D.B. Group can offer consultancy and assistance in every step of the supply chain, transportation options by sea, air and road, and cross-border solutions.
